ASPEC has produced many EMP reports for a wide range of projects that include road construction, landfills, beach resorts, sewage treatment plants, housing and industrial development and airports. Our EMP approach focusses on clear, pragmatic and cost-effective mitigative solutions to abate adverse environmental impacts. Most of our clients retain our services in formulating EMPs subsequent to completion of the EIA studies of their projects. The confidence they have in us is also shown in our retention as the monitoring and auditing agency for them during site preparation and construction works.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT REPORT (EMR) AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT COMPLIANCE PLAN (EMCP)
Since 1999, ASPEC has been deeply involved in the formulation and preparation of more than 50 Putrajaya - based environmental management reports (EMRs) and compliance plans (EMCPs). The large number of commissioned EMRs and EMCPs reflects the confidence of Putrajaya Holdings and established contractors on the high level of professional services provided by our Firm. It is also reflective of our deep understanding of the purpose of EMRs to provide a systematic assessment of all possible environmentally-polluting activities where control measures need to be implemented to ensure compliance to the environmental management requirements.
