ASPEC has more than 14 years of experience in conducting EIA studies and is proud of its track record in providing high level quality environmental appraisals and comprehensive studies for the EIA reports. Backed by DOE-registered and experienced consultants, the EIA team in ASPEC has completed more than 50 EIA studies; a testimony of our Firm’s commitment as well as numerous project proponents’ trust in our services. The importance of a practical focus is central to our approach and we work very closely with our clients to achieve better results and enhance productivity alongside environmental integrity. One of the Firm’s prominent projects was the completion of the Environmental Impact Assessment of the Pulau Tioman New Airport at Teluk Paya in record time when called upon to do so. It was commissioned by the Ministry of Transport on 21 August 2003, completed on 2 October 2003 and approval given by the Department of Environment on 23 October 2003.
